Our district posts all teaching jobs on our district website. Internal Applicants: (current SD 67 teachers and TTOC’s): submit a letter of interest or email to the Human Resources department referencing the posting and position number that you wish to be considered for.
External Applicants: The Okanagan/Skaha School District accepts applications for specific postings, and general applications on an ongoing basis. As our preferred method of receiving external teacher applications, we encourage all external applicants to apply to our District, on-line through Make a Future. The Okanagan School District also accepts teacher/teacher-on-call applications year round. Candidates for all teaching positions in Okanagan/Skaha must have completed their Bachelor of Education degree and possess or be eligible for membership with the British Columbia College of Teachers. You are strongly urged to consider applying for TTOC employment even if you desire permanent placement. TTOC’s have the unique opportunity to become better acquainted with our schools and principals and supervisors get to know their skills and attributes on a first-hand basis. Ensure the following documents are included in your application package: • cover letter and resume, including references • certificate of qualifications (or interim certificate, if available); • copy of TQS card • copy of official university transcripts; • practicum reports or teacher evaluations; and • reference letters Alternatively, applicants may submit a complete package in person or by mail (application forms are available at our District office) to:
